I am an engineer and producer; which is to say that my expertise is both technical and creative. I am willing to offer whichever combination of both best fits your needs. I consider my job to be helping my clients perform at their best by taking the technical load off your shoulders, helping your make any decisions your unsure of, and providing a comfortable and inspiring studio experience. Anyone making great music deserves a great studio experience.
My Background
Ian has been recording and mixing music and audio professionally for fives years. They have studied music technology at Foothill College and completed a Bachelors Degree in Music Production & Engineering at Berklee School of Music in Boston Massachusetts. After a brief internship at The Bridge Sound & Stage Ian moved to their adopted home of Portland Oregon where they served as an intern and recording engineer the Hallowed Halls. From the start of their education to the present Ian has been working with a diverse range artists in various styles including; metal, rock, avant-garde, jazz, classical, and pop. Ian brings curiosity and integrity to every project - always seeking to find the best way to translate the artist’s vision into reality. Ian’s meticulous dedication to quality and service ensures that your project sounds the best it can and that your experience is as enjoyable as possible.
